Build your own computer system from cheap computer parts

If you want to have a more powerful or an even cheaper computer system than the preassembled ones that you seen, you could build your own computer system. It is not at all so difficult as the sales people of big pc manufacturers like Dell, IBM, HP Compaq want you to believe, and chances are that you will be using the exact same components as they use when you build your own computer. The dollars they charge extra for the assembly of the computer system would be better off in your wallet, right?

If you choose to build you own computer, you would have an advantage when you need to upgrade your computer system, because you already know how to remove computer parts and putting in new and cheap computer parts. Another advantage is the fact that you can shop around at different stores picking out the various cheap computer parts that you would like to have in your new cheap computer system. This will give you a better price - just remember to count in the delivery costs (if any).

When you build your own computer, the money you save could be spent on building an even better and still cheap computer or you could spend them on other things you enjoy - like upgrading your computer when the time comes.

And there is even more good news: when you upgrade your computer, you will end up with old computer parts that you do not need anymore. Do not throw them away! They could be used in another computer, effectively upgrading it. Put your used parts in a computer of a family member or friend, or sell them on eBay. Everyone will be happy: you, the recipient, and the environment.

When you build you own computer system, there is a small downside. If anything goes wrong when you build your own computer system, you have nobody but yourself to blame. And if something goes wrong with your computer after you have built it, you must find out which piece of hardware that is causing the trouble, and then return this piece of hardware to the shop where you purchased the it.

One thing I want you to remember is the fact that it is not as complicated to put together your own cheap computer system as you might think. Building your own computer system is not at all that difficult. Computer parts are made so that they fit together.

What parts do you need for building your own computer system?

First things first: Check that you have all the computer parts needed before you head on building you own computer.
